OPI Mystery Shade: You Better Pink!

OPI Polish You Better Pink! vs Pink Friday

The other day I went to a discount shop because they have sometimes Essie, Nicole by OPI, Ciate, revlon OPI, Nails Inc, etc, brands at discount prices from older collections. When I was looking at
some of the new OPI polishes they had, I notice something strange. Some colours I new from  older collections  had a different name and different label from the usual OPI labels. For example Metallic 4 Life  from the Nicki Minaj collection had a different name and  label and also Save me. I decided to get 2 colours from the different labels and one from the usual labels has they were on offer 3 OPI for £10.
When I got home I went to google to search for the different labels names and google came out with NOTHING.... This shade doesn't exist. I thought to myself they can't be fake has the other colours with the regular  label were real. Definitely in a shop  they couldn't be selling fake OPI (even at a discount price) and real ones together.
So I search a bit more and found a blog That explained this mystery OPI's. If you want to read it the link is HERE. So for what I understood this  mystery OPI's are  all discontinued shades that have been renamed. Some are from OPI  celebrity collection others are from the  Sephora by OPI or  Nicole by opi range. Tam Tam Tam!!!!!!! Who would have though!!!!!. The funny thing is I already know which colour is this has I have the one with the original name  and label are you ready ?????
OPI You Better Pink! Is OPI From the Nicki Minaj collection Pink Friday. If you don't believe me here are the pictures of both.

Now I have too of the same colour with a different name. thank you very much!!!!. The other mystery shade I haven't found a dupe in my collection but it might be from other OPI or Nicole by OPI collection. Did you found any of this Mystery OPI Polishes?

  1. LOL that is quite a story - and I really dislike that they get mystery nameslike that - it makes no sense.
I mean it's discontinued, so what, there always will be buyers for it also with the original name...

  5. Love this! What's funny is now I can colours I want cheaper. I already own Cream in my Coffee and I wanted Pink Friday. Good to know I don't have to pay as much for it (I've found all these mystery colours seem to cost less)

But OPI really isn't doing anything for people with paranoia about fake OPI nail polishes by doing this. Surely they could've just brought the colours out again in another collection?
