Barry M Dragon Fruit Gelly Hi- Shine Nail Paint Swatch

Barry M Gelly

This was my first Barry M Gelly. They already came out a while ago but for some reason I never picked one up. The other day I went to Superdrug and they had 4 new spring colours,
so I decided to give them a try. I'm a bit confused some call it dragon fruit but on my bottle definitely the name is just dragon. Anyway, dragon is a pink shade.  The bottle has some purple shimmers but on the nails you can’t really see it.  The formula was ok. The polish is a bit streaky with only one coat. For the colour to be opaque needs a minimum of 2 coats ( Even tough they were supposed to be highly pigmented polishes). They do dry faster on my nails than the regular line and also give a nice shine even without topcoat.

Barry M Dragon Fruit

Overall, I do like  dragon and I will get a few more shades when on sale.  Personally, I think that a side of drying glossier and faster  than the regular line the formula is not that different in terms of pigmentation.

  2. I wonder if they have "Dragon Fruit" listed on the site? I had the same thing with "Manhattan Mixer", it just said "Manhattan" on the bottle. Dragon does seem an odd name for a pink. It is pretty, though. :)
